Historical places always fascinate us. It has educative as well as cultural Values. I had a hope that I would see new things visiting different historical places. A few months ago during the summer vacation, I had an opportunity to visit Bagerhat, a historical place. The place is famous for the Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali and the Shat Gambuj Mosque. Then our school was closed and it was a good opportunity for me to fulfill my desire. I visited the Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali at Bagerhat along with two of my friends. We stayed there for one day. The Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali stands on a raised ground. The tomb is made of stone. Hazrat Pir Khan Jahan Ali came here from Delhi to preach Islam. He died on 25 October 1459. I saw many things and enjoyed them. There is a big tank in front of the Mazar. There are some crocodiles in this big tank. When the caretaker calls them, they come near. It is very interesting. The visitor's somethings give the crocodiles something to eat. I also visited the Shat Gambuj Mosque. It stands on sixty pillars and it has 77 beautiful domes. It looks very beautiful. It is known across the country. The experience I gathered there after visiting the place was immense. The visit really widened my outlook. When I remember the visit, I feel I should visit other historical places in our country too.

অনুবাদঃ ঐতিহাসিক স্থানসমূহ সর্বদা আমাদেরকে আকর্ষণ করে। এটির শিক্ষামূলক এবং সাংস্কৃতিক গুরুত্ব রয়েছে। আমার একটা আশা ছিল যে বিভিন্ন ঐতিহাসিক স্থান ভ্রমণ করে আমি নতুন নতুন জিনিস দেখবো। কয়েক মাস আগে গ্রীষ্মের ছুটির সময়ে আমরা ঐতিহাসিক স্থান বাগেরহাট ভ্রমণের সুযোগ হয়েছিল। স্থানটি খান জাহান আলীর মাজার এবং ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদের জন্য বিখ্যাত। তখন আমাদের বিদ্যালয় বন্ধ ছিল এবং এটা ছিল আমার ইচ্ছা পূরণের একটি ভালো সুযোগ। আমি আমার দুজন বন্ধুর সাথে বাগেরহাটের খান জাহান আলীর মাজার ভ্রমণ করেছিলাম। আমরা সেখানে একদিন অবস্থান করেছিলাম। খান জাহান আলীর মাজার উঁচু জায়গায় অবস্থিত। সমাধিটি পাথরের তৈরী। হযরত পীর খান জাহান আলী ইসলাম প্রচারের জন্য দিল্লী থেকে এখানে এসছিলেন। তিনি ২৫ শে অক্টোবর ১৪৫৯ সালে ইন্তেকাল করেন। আমি অনেক কিছু দেখেছিলাম ও সেগুলো উপভোগ করেছিলাশ। মাজারের সামনে একটি বিশাল জলাধার রয়েছে। এ বিশাল জলাধারে কিছু কুমির রয়েছে। তত্ত¡াবধানকারী যখন তাদের ডাকে তখন সেগুলো কাছে আসে। এটি খুব আনন্দদায়ক। দর্শনার্থীরা মাঝে মাঝে কুমিরদেরকে কিছু খেতে দেয়। আমি ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদও ভ্রমণ করেছিলাম। এটি ষাটটি খটির উপর দাঁড়ানো এবং এটির ৭৭টি সুন্দর গম্বুজ রয়েছে। এটি খুবই সুন্দর দেখায়। এটি সারা দেশে পরিচিত। স্থানটি ভ্রমণের পর আমি যে অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জণ করেছিলাম তা ছিলো বিশাল। ভ্রমণটি সত্যিই আমরা দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিকে প্রসারিত করেছিল। যখন আমি ভ্রমণটির কথা স্মরণ করি তখন আমি অনুভব করি আমাদের দেশের অন্যান্য ঐতিহাসিক স্থানগুলোও আমার ভ্রমণ করা উচিত।
