Write a dialogue between you and your friend about the importance/ necessity of tree plantation (Class 6, 7, 8, 9, SSC, JSC)

Write a dialogue between you and your friend about the importance/ necessity of tree plantation

Rahim   :  Hi, Karim.

Karim    :  Hello, Rahim.

Rahim   : How are you?

Karim    :  I am fine, thank you. And you?

Rahim   :  I am also fine. Thank you too.

Karim    :  Where did you go yesterday?

Rahim   :  I went to Dhaka to attend a seminar on the importance of tree plantation.

Karim    :  Oh, very good. Would you please tell me about the importance of tree plantation?

Rahim   :  Of course. Trees play an important role in our environment. We cannot live without trees.

Karim    :  I see.

Rahim   :  Trees are very helpful in our daily life. Trees give us oxygen. They give us food and fruits. They also provide us shelter. We get timber from trees. They also prevent air pollution. Trees protect the world from the harmful greenhouse effect.

Karim    :  Really, Trees are very useful for us.

Rahim   :  Some people cut down trees for wood, fuel, and food. Thus, they are losing their great friend, and nature is losing its beauty.

Karim    :  How can we solve this?

Rahim   :  Tree plantation means planting trees more and more. We have a lot of empty places for tree plantation. There are many roads and highways in the country. We can plant trees on both sides of the roads and highways.

Karim    :  I see. Can you tell me when is the best time of tree plantation?

Rahim   :  Yes, June and July are the best time for tree plantation. But we can plant trees all year round.

Karim    :  I have understood. To preserve our environment, we should plant more and more trees.

Rahim   :  Very good.

Karim    :  Thank you very much for your good information.

Rahim   :  You are most welcome.

Karim    :  Take care. Goodbye.

Rahim  :  You also take care. Goodbye.

Write an application to the Headmaster/Principal for setting a multimedia class room with internet facilities.

25 August 2029

The headmaster

Dhaka Collegiate School, Dhaka.

Subject: For setting up/arranging a multi-media classroom with Internet Facilities.

Sir,
You know that we can learn better from seeing. But it is not always possible for us to go out. This is why the government has given us a projector and a laptop. But we do not get any multimedia classes because we have no multimedia classroom and Internet facilities. We feel the necessity of a multimedia classroom with Internet facilities badly. It is because multimedia activities will encourage us to work in groups, express our knowledge in various ways, solve problems, and revise our own work.

Therefore, we hope that you would kindly take necessary steps to set up/arrange a multi-media classroom with Internet facilities as early as possible and inspire us to enrich our knowledge and wisdom.

Write an application to the Chairman for sinking a tube-well for safe water.

21st April 2025

The Chairman

Madarganj Upazila, Jamalpur.

Sub: Prayer for sinking a tube well.

Sir,

I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Gunaritola village, wish to draw your kind attention to the following fact that we need to sink a tube well in the bazar of our village. This bazaar is a very important place for the village. It remains crowded almost the whole day. Most of the villagers buy their essentials from the bazar. They also earn their livelihood from the shops they have at that place. But even with all these things, it has only one tube well at that big place, and that too with arsenic. People who come to the bazar suffer greatly from the scarcity of pure water. So, sinking a tube well in the bazar will help to get over this situation at large.

In the light of the circumstances stated above, I pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary measures for sinking a tube well in the bazar as early as possible and oblige thereby.

Sincerely yours,

Rafiul Alam

Subject: Prayer for increasing books in the library/ library facilities.

Sir,

This is to draw your attention to the fact that the library facilities in your school are not sufficient. The small number of books by ancient writers in the library, accommodation and library hours etc. cannot serve the students well. For the greatest benefit of the students more books in the library are required. Again, accommodation inside the library and library hours need to be increased. Your kind consideration and co-operation in this respect will help us to make good results.

I, therefore, hope and pray that you would take necessary steps for enhancing library facilities and oblige us thereby.

Sincerely yours –

He wants me to go with him and study at a school there. So, it has become an urgent necessity to get a transfer certificate from you so that I can get myself admitted into a school in Dhaka.

26 September, 2015

The headmaster,

Dhaka Residential Model School,

Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207.

Subject: Prayer for buying more books for school library.

Sir,

With due respect and humble submission, I, on behalf of the students of your school, beg to state that ours is a renowned high school in the capital city. There are nearly four thousand students in our school. Most of us are eager to learn more and more. Only the textbooks cannot satisfy our thirst for knowledge. So, we want to quench our thirst for knowledge by reading novels, poetries, plays, stories, biographies, etc. But number of books in the library has remained almost the same. They are insufficient in proportion to the number of students. Most of the books available in the library have become tattered because of over use. Many important reference books are not available in the library. It is not possible for students to buy all kinds of books from the market. Moreover, it is needless to mention how helpful a good library may be to both the students and the teachers. The books that we have in our library are inadequate. As such, we cannot get books according to our need and choice. So, we need more books to satisfy our thirst.

In the circumstances stated above, I pray and hope that your honour would be kind enough to buy more books for our school library and oblige thereby.

Such a visit will go a long way to dispel our monotony and renew our zeal for study. Moreover, this will open up a vista of our distant past and furnish us with sound knowledge. Our team will consist of 65 students and two teachers from the Department of Mathematics. The expenditure will be borne by ourselves on equal distribution.

Sub: Prayer for setting up a canteen on the school/college campus.

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that there is no canteen on our school/college campus. We acutely feel the need for a canteen. Our classes start at 9 a.m. and break up at 4 p.m. There is a thirty-minute break at lunchtime. However, most of the students cannot go home for lunch because they live far away. They have to take their lunch at roadside hotels and restaurants. But most of these are unhygienic.

Moreover, a School/college canteen may provide low-priced hygienically prepared food. In light of the above circumstances, we pray and hope that you would be kind enough to set up a canteen on the school/college campus and oblige thereby.
