Dear Sir,
With due respect and
humble submission, I would like to state that I am a student in class XI at
your renowned college. I could not attend college from the 10th to the 14th
instant on account of a sudden attack of pneumonia. The illness was so severe
that I was confined to bed. A medical certificate is attached herewith in
support of my illness.
May I, therefore, pray
and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me a leave of absence for those
days and oblige thereby.
