Journey by Train
Introduction: A journey by train is getting popular in our country. Recently I have made a journey by train. It was full of excitement and thrills. Perhaps I will never forget it.
Reason for Journey: During our last
winter vacation, my eldest uncle sent me an email. In the mail, he asked me to
visit him. I was very excited to spend a few days there because my school was
closed. My uncle then worked at Jashore. So, I decided to go there by train.
Preparation: It was 26 December. I got up early in
the morning. I took my breakfast. My mother gave me some snacks, which I kept
in my traveling bag. My sister Runy, who is two years senior than me, gave me a
book to read on the train. Then I hired a rickshaw and went to the railway
station. I reached there at around 9.45 in the morning.
At the Station: It was Ishwardy
rail station. It was crowded with people of different trades and professions. I
noticed that there were many ticket counters for different trains. I bought a
ticket for the Sunderban Express. It was a 10.15 train and it reached the station
at 10.13. I got on the train.
On the Train: The train started at 10.20. All
passengers looked very cheerful. At first, it was moving at a slow speed.
Suddenly, I noticed that it was making a loud noise, and we were on the
Hardinge Bridge. It is the oldest iron bridge in our country. I could also see
the Lalon Shah Bridge just parallel to the Hardinge Bridge. The bridge has
connected Pabna and Kushtia Districts.
On the Way: It was around 11 o’clock, and the
train was running at high speed. I could see through the window that all the
trees along the railway track seemed to go backwards rapidly. It was amazing.
We were leaving trees, plants, rivers, ponds, green fields, cattle, villages,
houses, and human beings behind us. It stopped at Veramara, Alamdanga, only for
a few minutes.
Arrival: It reached Jashore at 4 p.m. When I got off
the train, I found that my uncle was waiting there. It was a boundless joy for
me to see my uncle.
Conclusion: A journey by train is really a blessing of the modern transportation system. If you get on it, you will feel safe and sound.
ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ
ভূমিকা: আমাদের দেশে ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠছে। সম্প্রতি আমি ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ করেছি। এটি ছিল উত্তেজনা এবং রোমাঞ্চে পূর্ণ। সম্ভবত আমি এটি কখনও ভুলব না।
যাত্রার কারণ: আমাদের গত শীতকালীন ছুটিতে, আমার বড় চাচা আমাকে একটি ইমেল পাঠিয়েছিলেন। মেইলে, তিনি আমাকে তার সাথে দেখা করতে বলেছিলেন। আমার স্কুল বন্ধ থাকায় আমি সেখানে কয়েকদিন কাটাতে খুব উত্তেজিত ছিলাম। আমার চাচা তখন যশোরে কাজ করতেন। তাই, আমি ট্রেনে সেখানে যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিলাম।
প্রস্তুতি: দিনটি ছিল ২৬শে ডিসেম্বর। আমি খুব ভোরে উঠেছিলাম। আমি আমার নাস্তা করেছিলাম। আমার মা আমাকে কিছু খাবার দিয়েছিলেন, যা আমি আমার ভ্রমণ ব্যাগে রেখেছিলাম। আমার বোন রুনি, যে আমার চেয়ে দুই বছরের বড়, আমাকে ট্রেনে পড়ার জন্য একটি বই দিয়েছিল। তারপর আমি একটি রিকশা ভাড়া করে রেলওয়ে স্টেশনে গিয়েছিলাম। আমি সকাল ৯.৪৫ টার দিকে সেখানে পৌঁছেছিলাম।
স্টেশনে: ঈশ্বরদী রেল স্টেশন ছিল। বিভিন্ন পেশার লোকেদের ভিড় ছিল। আমি লক্ষ্য করলাম যে বিভিন্ন ট্রেনের জন্য অনেক টিকিট কাউন্টার ছিল। আমি সুন্দরবন এক্সপ্রেসের টিকিট কিনেছিলাম। ট্রেনটি ছিল ১০.১৫ টার ট্রেন এবং স্টেশনে পৌঁছায় ১০.১৩ টায়। আমি ট্রেনে উঠে পড়লাম।
ট্রেনে: ট্রেনটি ১০.২০ টায় যাত্রা শুরু করে। সকল যাত্রী খুব উৎফুল্ল দেখাচ্ছিল। প্রথমে, ট্রেনটি ধীর গতিতে চলছিল। হঠাৎ, আমি লক্ষ্য করলাম যে এটি একটি বিকট শব্দ করছে, এবং আমরা হার্ডিঞ্জ সেতুর উপর আছি। এটি আমাদের দেশের প্রাচীনতম লোহার সেতু। আমি হার্ডিঞ্জ সেতুর ঠিক সমান্তরালে লালন শাহ সেতুও দেখতে পাচ্ছিলাম। সেতুটি পাবনা এবং কুষ্টিয়া জেলাকে সংযুক্ত করেছে।
পথে: রাত প্রায় ১১ টা বাজে, এবং ট্রেনটি দ্রুত গতিতে চলছিল। আমি জানালা দিয়ে দেখতে পাচ্ছিলাম যে রেলপথের ধারে থাকা সমস্ত গাছ দ্রুত পিছনের দিকে যাচ্ছে। এটা আশ্চর্যজনক ছিল। আমরা গাছ, গাছপালা, নদী, পুকুর, সবুজ মাঠ, গবাদি পশু, গ্রাম, ঘরবাড়ি এবং মানুষ আমাদের পিছনে ফেলে আসছিলাম। আলমডাঙ্গার ভেরামারায় মাত্র কয়েক মিনিটের জন্য এটি থামে।
আগমন: এটি বিকাল ৪টায় যশোরে পৌঁছায়। ট্রেন থেকে নেমে দেখি আমার কাকা সেখানে অপেক্ষা করছেন। কাকাকে দেখতে পাওয়া আমার জন্য এক অসীম আনন্দের ছিল।
উপসংহার: ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ সত্যিই আধুনিক পরিবহন ব্যবস্থার একটি আশীর্বাদ। আপনি যদি এতে চড়েন, তাহলে আপনি নিরাপদ এবং সুস্থ বোধ করবেন।
